Nature in the glass – this is the motto of the PFAU company located in the Jauntal valley in Carinthia. In 1987 they started to produce high quality brandy and meanwhile they became one of the top distilleries in Europe. Last year they were rewarded as Austria’s number 1!
Their goal is not just to produce good, but the best possible schnapps. The fruits used are fully matured, highly aromatic and so there is no need to add any sugar to the product itself. So the flavour reflects 100 % nature!
This schnapps is very lordly, well balanced, very fruity, but also spicy. Young but already great in taste!
Classic note of apple and honey, refined structure, straightforward, cool style and clear typicity on the palate, full-bodied and concentrated, robust yet unobtrusive, spicy and savory.
43% alcohol, kept in oak barrels for 2 years, several well known apple sorts were used to produce this high quality product (all from Carinthian gardens).
